Proofreading  is checking and correcting:

- omissions
- spelling
- grammar
- punctuation
- consistency

Copy-editing  is checking and correcting:

- all of the above to a certain extent, plus
- language ​
- logical structure
- clarity
- consistency and style layouts
- illustrations

How long does it take to take care of
your manuscript?

• up to 25,000 words take around one or two weeks, more words - more time
• a simple edit happens faster than a comprehensive one
• tight deadline? I will let you know if I think I can't commit to your deadline​
